Hellthrasher Productions has once again teamed up with Naturmacht Productions, this time for the release of Havukruunu’s Rautaa Ja Tulta on 12” LP. Initially released in 2015, this fantastic EP has only ever been available as a CD and digital download. The vinyl version contains 6 original pieces + 4 bonus tracks from the CD edition, summing up to a full album playtime. Finnish pagan black metal at its best: epic, powerful and atmospheric!
Pressing details:
• 140 gram vinyl
• sleeve: simple pocket on 350gsm w-w stock with UV gloss varnish
• two-sided insert on 250gsm w-w stock
• limited to 500 copies (350 black, 150 grey)

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross!

Very late to the party, but for several years I've found melodic black metal all too similar and all albums sounding like Dissection, etc... HOWEVER, not only I am back into it but UADA is still a layer of complexity above the main baseline and this is an old album worth having, that's a basic milestone in UADA's discography and I felt it needed to be part of my BC collection.
